Job description

Location - Warrington and hybrid working

A Business Analyst, able to unpick complex business process relationships & drive coherence and simplicity.

The role will involve:

  • Supporting transformation at scale. With multiple, disparate user communities seeking to benefit from this programme of work, the delivery teams will follow the Agile delivery methodology with consistent focus on prioritisation and benefits.
  • Supporting customers in their transformation journeys, initially by working with the Product Owners and Customer Stakeholders to illicit functional and non-functional requirements, before supporting the development of a prioritised backlog with a clear path to business benefits.
  • Supporting the Programme Director by adopting a flexible approach to the delivery tasks, as required.

Given the nature of the work that our client does, security is of paramount importance. You will need to have existing SC level clearance and to have been resident in the UK for the past 5 years.

Demonstrable experience of:

  • Recognisable Business Analysis skills as outlined in the DDaT (Digital, Data and Technology) framework.

    • Improvement

    • Requirements Definition and Management
    • The widely used Government Digital Standards (GDS)
    • Working on complex business transformational projects through life
    • Defining Scope and Objectives consistent with business prioritisation and associated benefits
    • Developing and communicating delivery plans
    • Encouraging and tracking progress through robust reporting
    • Having completer / finisher behaviours at your core
    • Being a self-starter, with the ability to be adaptable and able to set your own priorities as appropriate
    • Good emotional intelligence to understand what the client really needs to achieve
