Job description

Accountabilities

  • Promoting HSE policies & practices, culture and objectives for the project as the CPY HSE Reference
  • Verifying implementation and adhesion of Contractor with the requirements of the CONTRACT Exhibit L
  • HSE supervision of the activities at Sites
  • Being "visible at Site" and "walking the talk" with HSE as a priority
  • Intervene where HSE deficiencies are identified and report
  • Attend Project HSE meetings, training and inspection as when invited to
  • Work closely with the rest of the project team on the assigned location

DAILY:

  • Attend HSE Supervisors Briefing in the morning
  • Attend location specific TBT within their assigned area of coverage
  • Greenfield: discharge his responsibility as per PTW Procedure (i.e Area Authority in Greenfield) and ensure sustained compliance during entire shift
  • Brownfield: ensure adequate HSE coverage and compliance with PTW and supporting documents (inclusive of JSA)
  • As an AGT, conduct pre-shift gas test
  • Liaise with FOPS & other discipline supervisors on site to address HSE concerns and overall promote HSE best practices
  • Submit his observations and action taken to HSE Superintendent before evening meeting
  • Coach CTR HSE Officers & monitor their activity
  • Verify effectiveness of rescue plans inclusive of actively participating in drills
  • Verify adequacy of HSE Communication posted on site
  • Conduct his inspections as per HSE Calendar provided by his HSE Superintendent
  • Conduct HSE activities delegated by HSE Superintendent (i.e attending JUB Hygiene inspection, random check of HSE induction, etc…)
  • Attend as of when required by HSE Superintendent, HSE Review meetings with CTR (i.e Observation Register or ATR)

Qualifications & Experience

  • Large experience on similar activities at equivalent position (minimum number of verifiable 15 years)
  • Familiar with offshore construction and commissioning activities
  • Fluent in English
  • Offshore SIMOPS experience
  • HSE Trainings: OPITO H2S / T-BOSIET / AGT / NEBOSH or equivalent
