Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Assurance & Compliance Manager, based in Aberdeen.
Must have the rights to work in the UK.

Responsibilities:
* Reporting to the CFO [and for internal audit matters to the CEO / Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee], the Risk, Assurance & Compliance Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of risk to the organisation, its employees, clients, reputation, assets and interests of stakeholders.
* Specific risk areas include, corporate governance, information security, regulatory compliance, insurance and operational risk.

Experience & Qualifications:
* Significant experience in a risk management or head of internal audit role.
* Knowledge and experience commensurate with this role and having dealt with regulatory environment both onshore and offshore
*Must be able to demonstrate a broad technical knowledge and expertise covering conduct of business matters, corporate governance matters and regulatory risk and regulatory change matters
* Practical and commercial approach to problem solving
* Experience of influence behaviours at all levels of the organisation
* Proven track record of delivering enhancements to process efficiency
* Experience of leading internal and outsourced teams for delivery on risk, assurance and compliance activity
* Ability to produce and present effective presentations and training sessions.
