Associate Project Planner
Location - North West Glasgow
Permanent

Our client is a global leader in the delivery of Offshore projects and services for the energy industry.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Liaise with Package Managers and other project team members to ensure viable solutions are identified and resolved to achieve targets
- Develop and maintain a MS Project baseline schedule including progress and reporting formats
- Implement sub-contractor schedules, establish and follow up reporting routines
- Develop and maintain data summary dashboards using Power BI, to include such information as progress, critical path status, deviation affect etc.
- Maintain open communication with projects stakeholders, providing updates and reporting
- Review the performance of baseline updates/revisions, applying scheduling and planning techniques to analyse results as required
Experience and skills required:
- Role relevant Project planning experience in-part or in-full.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project would be advantageous, though not mandatory.
- A collaborative worker who interfaces effectively across the business.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Analytical skills, and a strong ability to work with detail and accuracy.
- Pro-active with a solutions-based approach, willing to challenge the status quo.
- Effective planning and organising, adapts to changing and competing priorities within a fast-paced 24/7 global business.
- Demonstrates initiative and ownership, works autonomously, and supports wider team activities.
- Committed to continuous improvement / development of skills and work methods / processes.
