Assistant Site Manager

Responsibilities

  • Check setting out of works including earthworks, foundations, structural steel and block work.
  • Quality Control.
  • Make sure all plant and machines are used efficiently on site.
  • Maintaining safety procedures.
  • Keeping site records up to date.
  • Maintain filing system.
  • Ensure site is tidy.
  • Keeping safety/scaffold/plant register up to date.
  • Carry out all duties in accordance with Site Supervisors Procedure Manual.

Qualifications

  • A 3rd or 4th year undergraduate on track for a 2:1 in Civil Engineering or Construction Project Management
  • Valid CSCS card (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety on site is necessary
  • Previous work experience within the construction industry (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Health and safety awareness
  • Organisational skills
