Our client are an established Mechanical and Plumbing Company involved with varied projects across the Highlands. Their present and future work commitments have created the need for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.

POSITION

We require an assistant Quantity Surveyor reporting directly to the Commercial Manager to assist in the preparation of tenders and managing projects through to final account stage. Working closely with the Senior QS to ensure commercial control of the project is maintained in line with company standards.

DUTIES

Preparation of tenders including site measurement and obtaining quotations.

General project management including site reporting, preparation of valuations and monitoring costs.

Preparing materials schedules in readiness for purchasing.

Assisting with preparation of final accounts

THE APPLICANT

Candidates will have experience of working in the Construction Industry ideally Mechanical or Electrical background

Will be studying for a professional qualification although not essential.

A positive attitude with the ability to work within a team.
