Assistant Cost Controller / Cost Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparation and management of authorization for funding of all capital projects (AFE`s) and creation of WBS`s.
  • Responsible for running projects reports and feed back to project managers and the cost controller.
  • Responsible for creation of purchase requisition and liaise with procurement to verify rates and ensure contracts are set before issuing purchase orders to vendors.
  • Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
  • Closely monitor and to update all relevant assets cost and support in providing actual vs. budget analysis
  • Contribute in developing yearly operation plans, budgets together with the cost controller.
  • Directing and controlling the costing activities on a cost center level in order to ensure on time monthly financial reporting

Requirements:

  • Oil & gas experience is essential and previous experience in turnaround cost management is preferred.
  • Fluent English & Dutch
  • Good knowledge of SAP ( project environment , reporting, Purchase requisitions, work orders)
  • Self-starting and adaptable attitude, with the ability to work with tight deadlines
  • Minimum 3 years experience
