Orion Partner Plus are delighted to have been retained by a longstanding client, who have a fantastic opportunity to onboard an Americas Sales Director.

Our client is a global leader in aviation & refined fuel filtration with more than 70 years of providing innovative filtration and separation products to solve customers' most challenging problems.

Our client continues to lead the aviation industry with advanced filtration solutions from refinery to point of use across the spectrum of refined fuels, supported by manufacturing and distribution facilities throughout the US.

The Sales Director - Americas & APAC is responsible for specific outside sales activities for our client, as well as oversight and management of a group of commissioned representatives and distributors. This position will be responsible for achieving the sales revenue plan (budget) as well as helping establish the strategic direction for technologies and vertical market activities.

With remote working available, this position offers a clear runaway to succession (VP Commercial), an excellent basic salary, bonus, and attractive general benefits.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum requirement is a bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical or business field.
  • Results driven with a bias for action
  • Proven track record of successfully increasing territory sales volume
  • 3-5 years minimum proven sales leadership experience in markets with highly technical products - Aviation industry preferred
  • Sales experience in managing channel conflict in a distribution model
  • Experience with CRM - Salesforce preferred
  • Strong technology skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word
  • Ability to prioritize, work independently, and solve problems, working comfortably under pressure.
