Job description
Our Client is seeking an experienced and motivated Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Engineer to join their dynamic team, based in Inverness.
As an Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Engineer, you will play a vital role in installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems across both commercial and residential projects in the Highlands and Islands. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong technical background to contribute to the continued success in delivering high-quality service to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems in commercial and residential environments.
Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults, ensuring optimal and safe operation.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards.
Deliver excellent customer service, offering professional advice and maintaining strong client relationships.
Maintain accurate records of all completed work, including service reports and compliance documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (or equivalent).
F Gas Certification (essential).
Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving licence.
Fluent in English.
