Our client is currently recruiting for the position of AEM Operations Engineer, based in Aberdeen

Responsibilities will include:
Provide process operational assistance and ensure FPSO is operated within design specification / envelope as well as local environmental and safety regulations.
Provide process technical input and design solutions for MOC requests and provide support and / or management of implementation of approved MOC's when assigned.
Provide process technical input to Technical Queries and offshore requests for information as required
Assist with root cause analysis of process and operational related Shutdown / Breakdown Reports to ensure lessons are learned to prevent re-occurrence
Provide support to emissions and fiscal measurement reporting including mismeasurement reporting if requested
Review and monitoring of lessons learned registers to ensure fleet lessons are implemented on assigned asset where applicable as well as ensuring lessons learned on assigned asset is shared with the fleet.
Support pre-start-up, start-up, performance tests etc.
Support the maintenance of process related documentation such as IFS routines, Safety and Environmental Management System and Operating Manuals
Participate actively in Assessor role, support Competency Assessment program for the Fleet, and provide input to the training program as required.
Liaison with the TMM and provide operational input to the planning process and deliver assigned 28 or 90-day plan activities including vendor and work scope management
Provide process and operations input to annual and 5-year plans and budgets as required.
Carry out regular visits to the unit(s) and proactively support implementation of safety management system through audits and other supervisory activities.
Support various studies including HAZOP/HAZID, Risk assessment etc.
Coordinate the initial operational input and coordination of planned shutdown activities into a shutdown plan / register prior to handover to shutdown project teams.
Participate in Emergency response team as required

Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Process / Marine / Safety / Mechanical or other relevant major.

Experience
Significant experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry.
Offshore / FPSO operations experience is desirable.
