Orion Rail Construction Services was formed to provide an extensive service covering all aspects of the Construction and Installation works within the railway environment. Our professional team offers 365 days a year, 24-hour call out service and the team are well versed in weekend & unsocial working hours, which allows them to meet the outage constraints placed on clients.

Orion Rail Construction Services Ltd is part of Orion Group which is an independently owned Group with over 50 offices worldwide and services that include railway safety and access training, rail construction, signalling and telecoms, integrated services and contingent and manpower supply.

We are now looking to hire an Administrator to join our Rail Services and Construction team based in the London Redhill offices. Whilst it would be advantageous to have either a construction background or knowledge of rail, the successful Office Administrator will have:

  • Knowledge and experience of office management, and be able to manage diary appointments for the team.
  • Previous experience raising purchase orders and tracking costs/expenditure
  • Experience in taking meeting minutes.
  • Excellent organisational skills including the ability to manage a diverse and busy workload, plan effectively and work to deadlines on own initiative.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and with appropriate tone, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent understanding of excel.
  • Good Numerical and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and an attention to detail.
  • A strong customer focus with a flexible can do attitude, aimed at delivering business and service objectives.

This is a permanent position.
