Accounts/Purchase Ledger Assistant
Contract initially with view to permanent
Rate - £13.20 per hour
Location - Dalgety Bay

Our client a successful and innovative engineering manufacturing business is seeking to recruit an Accounts/Purchase Ledger Assistant for their Finance Team.
The role will be commencing on a contract basis however could become permanent for the right candidate.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 4.30 pm, half hour lunch and Friday 8.30 am to 1.30 pm.
Experience

* Experience working in an Accounts / Purchase Ledger role.
* Experience with Microsoft Office software packages

Responsibilities

* Matching invoices to delivery notes.
* Checking matched invoices against purchase orders.
* Posting invoices.
* Preparation of BACS run at middle and end of month.
* Posting payments.
* Meeting all supplier and customer payment deadlines.
* Reconciliation of statements.
* Resolving supplier queries.
* Keeping ledger filing up to date and current.
* Managing month end accruals.
* Other ad hoc duties relevant to the efficient running of the function.
