Job description


We have a new opportunity for an Accountant to join the team based in our Inverness headquarters. This is an exciting opportunity to work with on international accounts, analysing and advising business operations on revenue, expenditure, trends and financial commitments and future revenues whilst ensuring monthly activities are administered efficiently, accurately and within agreed timescales.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Review of work processes/controls, identify improvements and apply solutions.
  • Completion and review of Month End Reporting within reporting timetable including:
    • Monthly P&L, B/S, including working papers.
    • Accompanying narrative
    • Variance Analysis
    • Weekly Cashflow
    • Weekly Profit Reporting
  • Preparation of financial information for review meetings with Regional Directors.
  • In conjunction with Regional Directors/Group Finance, assist in the production of regular forecasts to feed into Group Model.
  • Ensure that finance system is set-up, utilised and data entered correctly to provide accurate timely reporting.
  • Ensure Statutory Compliance including taxes and auditing.

The successful candidate will ideally have a recognised accountancy qualification (CA / ACCA/ CIMA/CIPFA) or working towards full qualification with experience working in a high-volume transactional business.

This is a full-time permanent role working 37.5 hours per week, and we are happy to consider hybrid working.
