We are working with a family run FMCG business based in the West Midlands. The business has an excellent reputation in the industry. They supply high quality and on-trend innovative products to the UK's major retailers.

Account Manager

*FTC 12 months covering maternity*

The successful applicant will be an experienced Account Manager within FMCG, managing a top 4 retail account at a national level.

Some of the responsibilities involved in the position:

  • Creating and implementing JBP's
  • Category management initiatives
  • Communicating effectively with Marketing, Production, Procurement and NPD
  • Involvement in NPD process
  • Cost negotiation and contract renewal
  • Regular face-to-face customer meetings
  • Identifying new opportunities
  • Maintain an up-to-date awareness of competitive activity and market trends
  • Running daily sales reports for customer analysis
  • Forecasting and supply chain support
  • Managing promotional plans

There may be a permanent position on offer at the end of the contract. This would depend on a number of factors including individual performance.
